Career Opportunities

The Social and Human Services associate degree will give you the knowledge and abilities to help you launch a career in community-oriented social and human services occupations, or to continue your education through a bachelor's degree program. With in-demand skills, our graduates find work in a variety of areas, including:

Intensive Education

Your career begins with Seattle Central. An associate degree in Social and Human Services is also an excellent starting point for students who may be interested in advanced professional training in fields such as applied behavioral science, social work, clinical psychology, rehabilitation counseling, social policy and many other fields. In addition, you can gain specialized training needed to become a Chemical Dependency Specialist or Care Coordinator and Navigator through a certificate program designed to complement the Social and Human Services associate degree. You can also earn certificates in Early Childhood and Family Studies.
